Bought back in 2001 in a very sorry state – but with a V6 ford engine under the bonnett ( Not a runner though ..Hugh) i couldn’t resist it, a 12 month rebuild brought it to the condition pictured.
This rebuild was done on a shoe string with a lot of help from a friend …. Uncle Pete who fabricated the manifolds and helped with just about everything else, The paint job was again done as a favour by another friend Chemical Kev. due to the amount of High build primer and hours of flatting, even though it had been severely repaired Kev got an excellent finish on it ….Cheers lads. The current spec is as follows

1980 Dolomite sprint
Spax lowered springs and shocks
K&N and Twin Webber carb (Standard on 3000GT capri)
Rumour has it that it has a high lift cam but i have yet to confirm as i have not yet done anything to the engine.
Standard Sprint brakes (Work fine for the MOT but do not give you confidence)
Over the last 4 years the car has done very little mileage even though it is awsome to drive sideways with the wheels smoking – due to the fact that it handles like a wet bar of soap.

This car is now for sale as an unfinished project due to a change in circumstances it is tested and does drive there are lots of spares with the vehicle. I am looking for £650 for this car which is a bargain, considering how little work is needed to make this car excellent, i will be sorry to see the back of it but i would love it to go to a good home.
Please call 07740922789 Uk 9am to 8 pm only please I am in Sheffield and need a quick sale hence the bargain price 8/11/06 the jaguar is also for sale if anyone is interested Cheep !!!!!
