The MG Car Club of Tasmania have already received a number of entries for this years event for the Wrest Point Historic MG Race Meeting scheduled for 15th - 17th October at Baskerville in Tasmania for 2010. The event is on track regarding pre- event planning and some sections have exceeded expectation with the level of interest shown.
We are also happy to announce that 'The fox' Harry Firth is patron for the event and a special dinner has been organised to celebrate his presence on Friday 15th in the Show Room at Wrest Point and will include interviews with Harry and other guests, also includes film footage, hosted by Barry Oliver. Tickets are $75.00 per person and are on sale from 12th July or directly from the Wrest Point Service Centre or by calling 1300 795 257.
These tickets will sell fast, so get in early as many car clubs have been waiting for their release.

Thursday 14th Circuit available for Private Practice
Friday 15th Practice (Harry Firth Dinner)
Saturday 16th Practice/Qualifying/Racing
Sunday 17th Racing
Details of classes and length of races will be notified after close of entries.

The B.B.Q. will start at 6.30 for 7.00 P.M at 17 Reiby St West Moonah and will be under cover but outside so bring warm clothes if necessary. Please bring your own meat & drinks, salads sweets & nibbles will be provided.

Limited parking is available on site, first come first served, otherwise parking will have to be on the street.
P.S. The hill is reasonably steep so if your handbrake is suspect, turn your wheels into the gutter.
